Nalini Sawhney

Nalini is a passionate artist who seeks to convey a full spectrum of the aura, sentiment and fine details involved with her subject matters. Her artwork portfolio covers in-depth studies in mythology, landscapes and still life in the form of oil and acrylic paintings.

Nalini’s drawings and paintings originate naturally. She paints a landscape if it strikes her, a divine belief that fascinates her and objects and people as they become interesting part of her life. She has been painting for past three decades on several continents as inspired occasionally and treasures the private collection of over a hundred paintings.

A soft spoken graduate in liberal arts she believes that a brief browse through her paintings can provide a better inside to the sentiment and details she has been trying to capture through her paintings. Nalini has been painting since her school days surrounded by nature with hills and streams at a foothills Himalayan city of Dehradun in India. She has exhibited her art in India, Sweden and USA.
